WhiteOak SAM - Setup and Monitoring Software

Description

WhiteOak SAM was developed in conjunction with WhiteOak Controls devices to simplify system configuration.  Instead of tweaking small potentiometers and switches,  WhiteOak SAM allows you to set and monitor parameters with common terms and standard units.  Simply scroll through to the desired parameter and view or adjust the setting.  WhiteOak SAM also offers the ability to read all parameters with one operation.  The parameters can then be viewed on the screen in table form and saved to a file for future use.  The settings list can then be written to another device for duplication, backup, etc.  The table of settings can also be printed for a hard copy record.  These features make WhiteOak SAM an easy, effective way to communicate with WhiteOak Controls devices.

Versions

WhiteOak Controls offers a free version of SAM called SAMlite.  The full function version of SAM is available for purchase.  The following table offers a feature comparison between the two versions:

WhiteOak SAM is available online.  The software will install and operate as the SAMlite version.  Please contact WhiteOak Controls to purchase a registration code to enable all features.   WhiteOak SAM requires Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0.  This is a free resource from Microsoft.  You will be notified during installation if the required files are not already installed on your computer.  In order to utilize WhiteOak SAM you must have a WhiteOak Controls device and the appropriate adapter cable.  Click on the following link to download:

WhiteOak Controls USB devices require a driver for communications with a PC.  The driver is included with WhiteOak SAM Software.  If Windows cannot find the appropriate driver during installation of the USB device, download the following file and select it during installation:

WOcdc.inf
